Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many of the Green Mountain Gardeners Events have been postponed or reworked. Our Garden Tour "Mountain Garden Walks" has been rescheduled for next summer, July 17, 2021
Christmas 2019
Wreath Sale at Flood Brook School
We held our yearly Wreath Sale again this year at the Flood Brook School Holiday Fair. Our team decorated and sold hand-made wreaths. All proceeds went to the Flood Brook School Activity Fund.
We also donate wreaths to brighten up town buildings in our neighboring communities including Town Halls, Post Offices and Museums.

Part of our team at the sale with a couple of helpful elves.
Boxwood Holiday Tree Workshop
Each year we partner with the Second Congregational Church, the Wantastiquet Rotary Club and the Weston Women's Club to provide Holiday cheer for homebound and needy citizens of our area. Our neighbors receive a tabletop boxwood tree we have made and decorated, a tin of cookies and a poinsettia plant to brighten their holidays.
The purpose of Green Mountain Gardeners in Weston and Londonderry is to:
-
Make Horticulture and Conservation an increasingly important part of the lives of its members and of the communities in which they live.
-
Provide a framework for education and community service in the areas of horticulture, beautification and conservation of all natural resources.
